If you use a Windows 10 computer, then you may have come across Microsoft’s popular Windows Spotlight feature where the service would automatically change the lock screen wallpaper. The same feature now comes to smartphones as well. Microsoft’s latest Bing Wallpapers app has been released as a standalone application for Android devices where one can automatically change the lockscreen or homescreen wallpapers on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis. The Bing Wallpapers app has a huge collection of wallpapers where you can scroll through it and set it as device background manually. Currently, the app is only available in the United States. However, using the latest Bing Wallpapers APK available for download, you can install it from any location.
Before the Bing Wallpapers app came into existence, the wallpaper service was only available via Microsoft launcher, another popular Microsoft app for Android devices. Moreover, there aren’t many great options on the Play Store when it comes to changing the wallpapers on a daily basis. However, the developer decided to separate this wallpaper service and make it a standalone app. The name Bing Wallpapers suggests, it could be a marketing trick for Microsoft to promote their Bing search on Android. Regardless, this is a great Windows Spotlight feature that comes to Android!
The best part about the Bing Wallpapers app is its ability to change wallpapers on your phone on a daily basis from a very large collection of well-photographed scenes from around the world. Moreover, even if the wallpapers are oriented horizontally, the app automatically crops and adjusts a new set in vertical orientation for your Android. You can either manually scroll through a list of images, or set it up such that the app automatically updates the wallpaper on the background with the featured image of the day. The daily wallpaper option can be found in the navigation menu (hamburger menu) on the left side.
